More and more people are seeing the benefits of the Treadmill Desk or a Standing Desk in there work day, while others continue to struggle to lose weight, stay fit, and find time for the gym. The fact of the matter is that, it's not easy to get away from our daily grind to hit the gym. We have much more important things to take care of in a day than our body. Wendy Winovich from South Bend, Indiana first came to us in the summer of 2010. She spends 8 hours a day on the phone and the computer taking reservation for a hotel on the campus of Notre Dame University.
We ran a case study with her for 12 months to see the changes that she would undergo and how the desk would hold up.
Wendy walked her way to a total weight loss of 35 lbs. in 12 months. "It's for real", she said.
Wendy and her colleagues used the desk for a total of 8 hours per day for the 12 months. She chose the Signature Sit2Stand desk, but didn't do much sitting. "I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the young gentleman (I can't remember his name) who drove two hours to our office to fix our Signature 9000 treadmill desk.
Since I had to leave the office by 12:45 ET today, I wasn't sure that he would have time to do any repairs after he arrived at 11:30, but boy did he fool me! He disassembled the treadmill, reassembled it properly with parts that had been disregarded in the original assembly, and even put a new privacy panel on the back of the treadmill! All with time to spare! We couldn't be happier with it now, and we thank you and John Yank for all your efforts on getting this issue resolved. I truly do appreciate your help on this.
And if you know the name of the young man who did the repairs today, and I'm so sorry that I don't recall his name, can you please make sure that he (and his boss) knows how happy we are at how willing and able he was in helping us? He really is deserving of praise.
