Standing Treadmill Desks |

There are some advantages and some disadvantages for going with a standing treadmill desk. The advantage to one of these as opposed to a sit and stand desk is that this type of standing desk can be used by more that one user. For example, if you have an office area of 2-20 employees, you can use a sign out sheet to share the treadmill desk throughout the day. Easily connect your laptop and go. These standing desk are not always ideal for a single user. As single user with a standing treadmill desk usually puts this desk next to their current desk or in the corner of their current office. Normally, what happens is the standing desk does not get used as much because it's not easy to switch between your main desk sitting, and your walking desk.
If your desire is to walk for the entire day, you could use this type of desk, or you can also use a stool on top of the tread to take short breaks. Any stool will do. The desks do raise and lower with an electronic button, so if you wanted to sit at a stool, you can easily lower the desk to a suitable height.
